Every wondered what the 5 crazies consumables in video games would be? Look no further!

Game consumables are things you, well... consume. Potions, bread, water, wine, beer - any number of things.

I like consumables, and wanted to celebrate the wacky, the strange, and the ludacris ones that exist in games.

Although food consumables are much more believable than magic medi-paks, let's throw realism, common sense and seriousness out the window and enjoy five crazy consumables in video games.

Game: Wolfenstein: The New Order

Consumable: Dog Food

This is a call back to older Wolfenstein games, which also included dog food.

How does dog food help you? It grants you a small amount of health, just enough to allow you to reap the rewards of not dying when in a pinch. Also it's tastes good, otherwise Mr. Blazkowicz wouldn't eat it right?

Did I mention it's dog food? Ridiculous right?

Game: Dead Island

Consumable: Energizer Drink

Caffeine is just the thing you need in a zombie apocalypse, it keeps you awake and alert. Ready to hit, slash or shoot some zombies. They are littered absolutely everywhere, and good thing too, with a quick drink and a good sounding gulp you will be back on your feet in no time.

Game: Fallout Series

Consumable: Nuka Cola

Everyone knows the worlds best rad infested light refreshment. Make sure you save those bottle caps for me to loot off you when you die.

The best Nuka Cola has the be quantum, it glows... then you drink it. Win for humanity right?

Game: World of Warcraft

Consumable: Crazy Alchemist's Potion

Stats:

  • 1.5 sec cast
  • Reagents Goldclover (2), Crystal Vial
  • Item Level 80
  • Use: Restores 2928 to 3305 health and 3967 mana. Sometimes has the effect of an additional random potion. (1 Min Cooldown)
  • Requires Level 70
  • Requires Alchemy(400)
  • Max Stack: 20
  • Sell Price: 25

The stats say it all, sometimes has the effect of a random potion on top of what it already does... so you might get healed, then get healed again. Or healed and then gain extra attack. Well crazy is in the name.

Game: Pokémon Series

Consumable: Rare Candy

Giving Rare Candy to a Pokémon will cause them to instantly level up, and if your Pokémon has fainted giving them a Rare Candy will instantly revive them.

Have a level 15 Charmander? Give him a Rare Candy, and you will suddenly have a Charmeleon. Pretty neat huh?
