In her first post as head of developer relations, Kellee Santiago announced that as of yesterday, all reviewed and approved games submitted to will be ready to roll when the first wave of non-dev OUYA units ship out on March 28. If you submitted your piece before the March 7 benchmark, sorry — you’ll have to go through the submission process again, as they’ve reset the marketplace completely.

She also announced that the three submissions that garner the most gameplay over the first six weeks will be featured in a series of OUYA launch promos:

OUYA is investing in a series of short documentaries to tell developers’ stories. We want to share your process, ups and downs, everything that goes into making the thing that you love — and that game we love to play.

This user-centric approach is the hallmark of the upcoming open-sourced console.
