The folks at Sony Online Entertainment, known for their popular games such as PlanetSide 2 and EverQuest, have released Dragon’s Prophet.
Dragon’s Prophet is a free-to-play fantasy MMO which takes place in Auratia, a world filled with dragons and enemies. I was lucky enough to know about and play the game from the early days of beta and I can attest that SOE has made amazing strides to put together a fantastic MMO game.
Who doesn’t want to play with flying dragons?
There are hundreds of unique dragons that you can capture and bring to your stable to save for the perfect battle. In order to make your dragon any good at fighting you must train, ride and fight with him to improve his skills and give him some experience.
Action and adventure with quests and combat.
Along with main quests throughout the game you also have side quests, which take you through the immersive world to explore and find hidden treasures. In combat, you use auto-target and a combo system to deal the greatest amount of damage to your enemies.
Tip: It is in your best interest to get together with some friends and create a team because some of the quests are almost impossible without someone to help you through. But as with most MMOs, it is not necessary to play with others–but it can get difficult on your own.
