If you like Halloween as much as we do, then we bet you're hyped for Fortnite Season 6 and the Darkness Rises theme. The array of available skins is terrifyingly good this time around.

\n

Battle Passes are available now until December 5 (before Season 7), which may have a winter theme if Epic decides to follow in the footsteps of this season and last winter's Survive the Holidays event.

\n

In order -- and to nab your favorite Season 6 skins they're gone -- be sure to work with friends to accomplish challenges, gain experience points, and climb tiers. Check out our ridiculously large list of Fortnite guides here

Skin: Hallow Head

\n

The final Season 6 skin (for now), and arguably the most impressive, is a flaming pumpkin head.

\n

Hallow Head is an intimidating character with a large hallow pumpkin head with bright teal flames igniting from his eyes and mouth. The cloak has a tattered hem and his belt and collar are adorned with rotting pumpkin leaves.

\n

Along with Jack Gourdon, these two pumpkin heads are some of the best of the season, and a must-have for this Halloween.

Skin: Jack Gourdon

\n

This skin was another to leak with the 6.02 update, and, honestly, we are so excited for it. Just look at it.

\n

This skin is a Legendary, so it will be around $15 as well, similar to the skins in the Grim Medicine Set and the Skull Set.

\n

This hilarious skin features a man in a black, pumpkin covered suit and a carved pumpkin head. His completely unimpressed facial expression is perfect for frustrating your opponents and is ridiculous when paired with extravagant emotes and dances like Orange Justice, Llama Bell, and Floss.

Skin: Bullseye

\n

Bullseye was one of the Season 6 skins leaked for the 6.02 patch.

\n

It's an Uncommon skin and won't be too pricey to purchase. It includes gloves, an unfastened military helmet with goggles, and a tank with a bullseye plastered at the center of the chest.

\n

If you purchase this skin, don't let your opponents hit that target and humiliate them with your own sharp-shooter skills.

"},{"image":"https://res.cloudinary.com/lmn/image/upload/c_limit,h_360,w_640/e_sharpen:100/f_auto,fl_lossy,q_auto/v1/gameskinnyc/s/c/o/scourge-9237d.PNG","thumb":"https://res.cloudinary.com/lmn/image/upload/c_limit,h_85,w_97/e_sharpen:100/f_auto,fl_lossy,q_auto/v1/gameskinnyc/s/c/o/scourge-9237d.PNG","type":"slide","id":"189488","description":"

Skin: Scourge

\n

Scourge came to the item shop alongside the Plague skin. Both are a part of the Grim Medicine set and resemble plague doctors from the 14th century.

\n

Both are 1,500 V-Bucks($15) in the item shop.

\n

This ominous skin includes a hooded cloak, popular crow-like plague mask, glowing green eyes, and gloves. The character is definitely one of the best to enter the shop lately, perfect for Halloween and the Darkness Rises theme.

Skin: Plague

\n

This is one of the most recent skins in the item shop; it's a part of the Grim Medicine set and is a little more expensive than the skull set. However, it is definitely one of the coolest, eeriest Fortnite skins out there.

\n

The plague doctor character is 1,500 V-Bucks. His mask has a crow-like beak -- reminiscent of medieval plague doctors -- and his eyes glow green. He also wears an apron and has medicine vials on his belt.

\n

This one appears to be limited, so you'll want to grab this one before its gone from the shop.

Skin: Skull Ranger

\n

Skull Ranger is also now available in the shop.

\n

She costs the same as her male counterpart at 1,200 V-Bucks (a little under $15) -- and she has become quite popular already.

\n

She also has a version where her bone outline glows green. Acquiring both the Skull Ranger skin and the Skull Trooper skin will complete the skull set and give you the opportunity to be even more festive this Halloween in Fortnite.

Skin: Skull Trooper

\n

They say what's old is new again, and that statement has never been truer than now. The Skull Tropper skin, a fan favorite, has made its return.

\n

This one costs 1,200 V-bucks (a little under $15.00) and has an additional version that glows in the dark if you owned the skin previously. Some players believe that the return of this skin could be a precedent for the return of the Ghoul Skin.

\n

But only time will tell.

Skin: Dire

\n

The most challenging skin to get this season at Tier 100 is also one of the best Halloween skins available. Dire is a legendary skin that at first just looks like a jock teenager. But after unlocking his other styles, this skin transforms into a terrifying werewolf.

\n

The second style in the set is a humanoid brown wolf with glowing yellow eyes, a red headband, and ripped jeans and jackets. This one is available at 30,000 XP.

\n

The third is 70,000 XP and is a complete wolf transformation, snarling teeth and all. He grows a long snout and pointy ears. He still has brown fur and red headband, but his jacket and jeans are completely torn away.

\n

Each of the following styles begin to change the werewolf’s fur and clothes colors. His fourth unlockable style is at 120,00 XP and has grey skin with light blue accents along his jacket and headband. His third is white with yellow accents. You can gain this one at 180,000 XP.

\n

The fourth (and final) unlock is a black wolf with bright red eyes, gold arm guard, and grey clothing. It’s going to take 250,000 XP to finally reach this one though.

\n

Get ready to start grinding challenges and buddying up with your friends to gain tiers and XP fast.

Skin: Nightshade

\n

With a name like Nightshade, you would expect this skin to be a bit scarier ... well, on second thought, it is a bit unsettling.

\n

This smiling tomato head is an Epic skin and part of the Pizza Pit set. She wears a grey jumpsuit and hood over the green stem at the top of her helmet.

\n

You can reach nab this Fortnite Season 6 skin to complete your Pizza collection at Tier 86. It might not be the spookiest skin in the newest set, but it's definitely one of the most unique -- and that helmet ... well, it speaks for itself.

Skin: Dusk

\n

This is one of the spookier -- and more Halloween-centric -- Season 6 skins.

\n

Dusk is an Epic Fortnite skin that's part of the Nite Coven set and perfect for the Darkness Rises theme.

\n

This vampire character has cold purple skin, glowing red eyes, white hair with purple edges, and creepy black claws. She wears a leather tunic, gauntlets, and boots.

\n

This demonic skin is the fifth of the seven skins you can gain, and it is available at Tier 71. It's perfect for frightening your enemies and getting a quick knock.

Skin: Fable

\n

Next up on the Fortnite Season 6 skins list is Fable.

\n

Most players simply refer to this skin as Red Riding Hood, though she’s a little more rugged than other iterations of the character with scarlet war paint on her eyes and the wolf's tail tied to her belt as a trophy.

\n

She still has her classic red hood along with braids and a skirt. Her shirt is tattered and bound with leather buckles. The rest of the look includes red and black gloves and boots.

\n

Looks like the wolves are the ones who should be running away.

\n

This skin is available at Tier 47 and is the first of the collection that won’t be immediately available after purchasing the Battle Pass Bundle.

Skin: Giddy-Up

\n

This Season 6 skin is straightforward but silly enough to work.

\n

Giddy-up is arguably the most hilarious skin Fortnite has seen yet. The character wears a giant inflatable pink Llama around his waist -- as if he were riding it straight to a victory royale. The boots are covered in grass as well to pull off the illusion -- well, except for the blatantly obvious metal shin guards ...

\n

You can nab this skin at Tier 23, which means it is also one you will get with the Battle Pass Bundle if you are willing to spend the extra money.

Skin: Calamity

\n

Calamity has been the talk of Season 6 for obvious reasons. Who wouldn’t want this sleek gunslinger skin?

\n

The best part is that this skin also has six unlockable styles. The first for this pink-haired cowgirl is an outfit of simple shorts and a cowgirl hat, which is available in Tier One, meaning you'll get this skin immediately when purchasing your Battle Pass.

\n

However, you'll need to gather experience to unlock this skin's other styles.

\n

The second, available at 20,000 XP, is more threatening with a bandit mask, a black pair of jeans, and a leather vest with silver studs. The third can be gained after reaching 50,000 XP. It includes gloves and fringed jeans.

\n

The second half of styles for Calamity are more detailed but also more difficult to receive. The fourth style adds teal accents, shotgun shells along with her belt, and a poncho to complete the western look. You will need 90,000 XP for this one though.

\n

The fifth look is where players can acquire the long dark cloak with spiked shoulders at 140,000 XP

\n

And finally, the sixth style adds another ammunition strap, spiked gloves, and glowing purple trims to the cloak. Smoke ominously billows off of Calamity’s clothes in this Halloween look. Be prepared to give the game some dedication, though, since it requires 200,000 XP to unlock.

Skin: DJ Yonder

\n

The infamous Llama has returned for Season 6 in the form of a DJ.

\n

Following suit other famous artists of the electro genre such as Daft Punk and Deadmau5, this Fortnite character wears a massive metallic helmet in the shape of a llama head. With shades, a headset, and a gold tooth, this DJ is ready to fist pump their way into a victory royale.

\n

The rest of the clothes glow in sweet LED lights, meaning it's not the stealthiest look out there. But who cares? You know you want it just to stand out in the crowd -- and the winner's circle.

\n

This is one of the skins you will automatically acquire in Tier One when you purchase a Battle Pass.

Darkness has risen and Fortnite Season 6 is off to a spooky start. Like a cauldron full of sweet, delicious candy, the shop is full of creepy, scary, deadly -- and even silly -- new skins just in time for Halloween.

\n

If you’re still contemplating whether or not you want to buy a Battle Pass or simply want to quickly sift through all the choices, we've put together a list of all the current Season 6 skins so you can spend more time knocking and less time scrolling through the shop.

\n

Remember, a Battle Pass costs 950 v-bucks ($9.99). You can also purchase the Battle Bundle, which includes the first 25 tiers of content for the season and costs 2,800 v-bucks (around $30.00).

\n

Season 6 will be active until December 5, 2018, which will give you plenty of time to enjoy the latest content and level up tiers to acquire your favorite skins.

Costume: Dark Voyager

\n

Dark Voyager has always been a favorite skin for Fortnite players, but it's also a favorite costume choice for cosplayers and Halloween shoppers. Spirit of Halloween has two costumes for the dark masked figure. The cheapest, however, is a $49.99 suit. Sizes range from adult to kids.

Costume: Leviathan

\n

Though this one will be a little tricky and time consuming, the outcome will be an awesome Leviathan skin costume -- which will totally be worth it.

\n

The key components to this one will be a breathable clear helmet ($18.90) and a fish mask ($6.00). But before you put on the clear helmet, make sure it's safe and breathable.

\n

To recreate the fish himself, you can either get creative with green and pink face paint as well as color hairspray or you can purchase cheap printable fish masks from Etsy.

\n

The main hiccup you might run into is with the suit. Despite there being few suits available that are identical to Leviathan’s, you can pull it off with a grey/white onesie or jumpsuit and tan gloves from Amazon.

\n

Here's what you need for this Fortnite costume:

Costume: Skull Trooper

\n

You can’t go wrong with a skeleton costume on Halloween, but make yours stand out by getting combat ready. Skull Trooper is the perfect Fortnite skin for All Hallow's Eve, and it can even be a lot of fun to make.

\n

This look can be created one of two ways. You can either purchase clothing that already has skeleton outlines printed on them, or you can paint your own.

\n

Using black and white face paint, create an eerie skull and bones along your arms. Next, outline a rib cage and spine on a sleeveless shirt with fabric paint and continue painting the pants legs for a complete skeleton costume.

\n

Be sure to dig out a pair of black combat boots from your closet, and don’t forget to buy a white ski mask and black scarf to mirror this skin.

Costume: Raptor

\n

Not only is this Raptor one of our favorite Fortnite cosplays, it's also one of the easier DIY Fortnite costumes. The best part is that you can get creative with items you might already have lying around the house.

\n

You will need brown combat boots, a shovel, cargo pants, and knee guards. If you don’t have a brown leather jacket, you can find a pleather pilot Jacket for around $40 on Amazon, along with a cheap yellow ski mask for $6.

\n

Finish it off with a pair of yellow gloves and a headset, and you’re good to go. This will be a warm costume so save all those layers for a cold Halloween night.

Costume: Teknique and Abstrakt

\n

If you’re the crafty type, you’ll have fun designing bright splatter for the skin duo, Teknique and Abstrakt. But don’t worry; It won’t require too much money or time since the core components are simply a grey jacket and purple sweatpants.

\n

Surprisingly, gas masks will only cost between $15-$20 and teal hats are as low as $2.00 online. Though the Abstrakt skin has an additional blue vest, the two will pretty much require the same amount of effort and materials.

Costume: Kitsune-Drift

\n

One of the more recent Fortnite skins to release also happens to be one of the most affordable to buy (or even make). With a red vest jacket, a fox mask, and some dark clothing, you can effortlessly pull off this Kitsune Drift Costume for pretty cheap.

\n

Though you could spend extra time crafting a mask such as cosplayer Gibson -- or shelling out some extra money for hand-made, 3D-printed masks -- you can also find masks from as low as $9.50 on Amazon.

\n

Pair that with fingerless gloves, a long-sleeved dark shirt, and a red jacket to match the skin and you're all set. Essentially, this costume would be perfect for anyone on a tight budget and in need of a unique, yet fairly easy-to-make costume.

The final three styles only continue to build on the impressive armor of the original skin.

The intimidating skull helmet is the highlight of this skin's fifth style and can be accessed once players reach 250,000 XP.

Ragnarok -- Legendary Skin (Style 1, 2, and 3)

\n

Ragnarok, the cold harbinger of fate, is the final skin of Season 5, and it doesn't disappoint. This character has glowing blue eyes and tattoos along with an impressive set of armor. So far, it is one of the most popular Tier 100 skins from any Fortnite season -- and it offers six selectable styles.

\n

The second style of the set adds an armored torso along with a full beard and hair but requires 35,000 XP

\n

The third style provides a shoulder guard and braids in the skin's bright beard but requires 75,000 XP.

Rook -- Epic Skin

\n

All the way up at Tier 87 is Rook, promoted from desk jockey to field agent.

\n

A mixture of professional and killer, this skin offers classic office wear with an additional bulletproof vest and shotgun shells at the belt. This fun contradiction makes her skin more challenging to acquire.

\n

To obtain this skin, players will have to work on completing objectives and challenges or dig into their pockets to buy their way up to higher tiers.

Sledgehammer -- Epic Skin

\n

At Tier 71, players will have access to Sledgehammer, a rugged demolition soldier with one of the manliest beards to ever enter the game.

\n

This character wears military garb, shows off tattoos, and hides behind shades. While many of Fortnite's other skins are often flamboyant or edgy, Sledgehammer finds himself among the small handful that are more traditional. Fans of classic FPS games are sure to love this familiar style.

Sun Strider -- Epic Skin

\n

Sun Strider is already one of the most popular Fortnite skins. And there's little wonder why: she's ready to save lives... or take them. This life guard summer skin is part of the Rescue Patrol set and is only available after reaching Tier 47.

\n

This is the first skin that won't be available in the bundle purchase, so the only way to access her is to either purchase each tier until you reach 47 or to start grinding challenges and working toward objectives.

Redline -- Epic Skin

\n

Redline is part of the RPM set, and some of this skin's signature features are her geometric tattoos and motorcycle helmet. Her red and black style is somewhat reminiscent of the popular action game, Mirror's Edge. In fact, this skin looks a lot like the Burnout skin, which was first featured earlier this year.

Drift -- Legendary Skin (Styles 4, 5, and 6)

Drift's other three unlockable styles contain his popular kitsune fox mask, adding a new layer to the overall look.

\n

The fourth style is the first in the set to include the fox mask and can be unlocked at 50,000 XP.

Next, the fifth style incorporates a long gold and black coat with a fuchsia design on the back. It can be acquired after reaching 100,000 XP.

The next skin, also available at Tier One, is Drift, a legendary character featured in the Season 5 trailer. He is shown adding graffiti to Durr Burger before teleporting into the world of Fortnite.

\n

Some of his signature features include his face mask and sleek gold and fuchsia design. He has six unlockable styles that can be acquired through gaining XP in solo, duos, or squads. Each style adds more colors, clothing, and layers to his edgy look.

Fortnite Leaked Skins: Flytrap, Chrome Commandos, and More! https://www.gameskinny.com/ppusf/fortnite-leaked-skins-flytrap-chrome-commandos-and-more https://www.gameskinny.com/ppusf/fortnite-leaked-skins-flytrap-chrome-commandos-and-more Tue, 05 Jun 2018 17:21:42 -0400 Ty Arthur

There's always something new getting added to Fortnite, whether an insane guided rocket (RIP -- we miss you, old friend) or the silly Bouncer Trap that just arrived in today's v4.3 update.

The oft-neglected Save the World mode is finally getting some shiny new Commando hero skins tomorrow, along with a slew of skins and gliders for Battle Royale that haven't officially been announced but leaked thanks to some glorious data miners.

New Fortnite Skins and Heroes

The super-cool, liquid-metal Diecast Jonesy and Chromium Ramirez heroes will become available in the Save the World Event Store on June 6 at 8 p.m. ET.

Both are Commando heroes (a subset of the Soldier class), so it's likely they will have the Goin' Commando, Debilitating Shots, Easy Operation, and Frag Grenade skills.

On the Battle Royale side, unquestionably the biggest news on leaked skins is the bizarre Flytrap, who melds the superhero theme with the prehistoric connotations of Season 4.

That glider in particular is amazing to behold, although the distinctive coloration on the skin makes it seem like anyone sporting the Flytrap is going to stick out like a sore thumb and make themselves a big target.

New Fortnite Flytrap skin and glider

Next up are the superheroine Ventura and the aerial dogfighter-themed Bomber Royale, bringing in something a little different beyond what the average player is sporting these days.

Expect these three new Fortnite Battle Royale skins to set you back 800 v-bucks (or 1,500 in the bundle versions with a glider or pickaxe).

 Ventura and Bomber Royale skins

It's currently unknown specifically when the Flytrap, Ventura, and Bomber Royale skins will become available, but they could possibly land as early as later this week when the Season 4, Week 6 challenges go live.

Finally, the Rambunctious, Laugh It Up, and Boogie Down emotes have also been discovered by intrepid data miners, which should run between 500-800 v-bucks when they finally arrive in the store.

What new skin are you most looking forward to trying out? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to check out our Fortnite guides here at GameSkinny:

How to Unlock the Stellar Tier 1 Carbide Skin in Fortnite Season 4 https://www.gameskinny.com/w0pgp/how-to-unlock-the-stellar-tier-1-carbide-skin-in-fortnite-season-4 https://www.gameskinny.com/w0pgp/how-to-unlock-the-stellar-tier-1-carbide-skin-in-fortnite-season-4 Tue, 01 May 2018 13:48:12 -0400 Jonathan Moore

Season 4 of Fortnite is upon us -- and that means there's plenty of shiny new stuffs to get our hands on. Alongside a ton of new emotes, dances, and items, Epic's released a bevy of brand-new outfits into the battleverse, the most stellar being the Carbide skin.

Just like we saw with the Omega skin, Carbide holds true to Season 4's superhero theme. A Tier 1 skin, this outfit might not be as coveted as Omega, but that doesn't mean you won't look totally killer wearing it. If you're a true Fortnite player, this is a must-have piece of armor for your collection.

To get it, you'll first need to purchase the Season 4 Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks. After that, you'll be able to immediately throw it on. But to really rise to the top, there's a set of challenges that'll reward you with upgrades you won't want to miss.

How to Complete the Carbide Armor Challenges

Like we mentioned in our Omega Skin guide, challenges are brand new to Fortnite this season. They give everyone, specifically high-end players, a reason to continue the grind, rewarding dedication with some of the game's slickest-lookin' skin upgrades and full armor sets.

If you want to stand out when you finally get that Victory Royale, completing these challenges is a no-brainer.

  • Challenge 1: Reach Season Level 10
    • Reward: Chest Armor
  • Challenge 2: Reach Season Level 20
    • Reward: Leg Armor
  • Challenge 3: Reach Season Level 30
    • Reward: Arm Pieces
  • Challenge 4: Reach Season Level 40
    • Reward: Helmet
  • Challenge 5: Reach Season Level 65
    • Reward: Entire Upper Body Armor

When you complete three of the five challenges (Level 30), you'll also unlock the Carbide Pickaxe.

How to Grind to Season Level 65 and Beyond

You can read our entire Battle Royale Survival Guide to find out all of the tips and tricks for scoring experience points like a master. But outside of completing as many challenges as you possibly can, here are the main tips you'll need to know for making the most of your grind to Level 65 and beyond.

  1. Play 50 vs. 50: This is where you'll get the most EXP in Fortnite. Typically, each match is relatively quick, and getting kills here can be easy. Start here. Other modes can bog you down.

  2. Play WIth Other Battle Pass Holders: Doing this will team you up with other like-minded and (hopefully) high-level players. Plus, you get team boosts when playing with other Battle Pass owners.

  3. Get High-Powered Weapons ASAP: This is a no-brainer. Nab a Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, or a Shotgun early. ARs work well, too.

  4. Get Victory Royale: Another way to look at this is "Last as Long as You Can." The longer you survive, the more EXP you'll get. This is a "Duh," but it's worth noting.

  5. Listen Out for Double XP Events: Follow the Fortnite official Twitter here for updates on Double XP weekends and events. These can drastically decrease your grind time and get you to 100 super quick.

  6. Don't AFK: Whatever you do, don't be that player that AFKs for experience points. Sure, it's an easy way to do it, but it's not cool. Plus, if you get reported enough, Epic will ban you -- meaning you'll have to start your grind all over again. It's just not worth it.

Got other leveling tips that we've missed? Let us know in the comments below. We'll add them and give you credit! Be sure to check out our other Fortnite guides to get even more tips, tricks, and strategies for this hugely popular Battle Royale slugfest.

How to Unlock the Badass Tier 100 Omega Skin in Fortnite Season 4 https://www.gameskinny.com/lmtqq/how-to-unlock-the-badass-tier-100-omega-skin-in-fortnite-season-4 https://www.gameskinny.com/lmtqq/how-to-unlock-the-badass-tier-100-omega-skin-in-fortnite-season-4 Tue, 01 May 2018 10:42:25 -0400 Jonathan Moore

Season 4 of Fortnite is upon us. And with that, Epic's unleashed a plethora of new Tier 100 rewards, with one of the most coveted being the new Omega skin. Not only does it look completely badass and like something right out of the Marvel superhero universe, but it's also the ultimate reward for Season 4.

That means if you want bragging rights, the Omega skin is going to be an essential part of your collection.

The first thing you're going to want to do is purchase the Season 4 Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks if you've yet to do so. After that, well, it's going to be a grind. But at the end, you'll have all of this skin's upgrades (yes, upgrades).

Below we'll go over what challenges you'll need to complete at each Season Level to customize this skin, as well as a few grinding tips to help you get to Tier 100 as fast as you can (unless you'd rather spend IRL money to get there faster...).

Omega Skin Challenges

Challenges are a brand-new addition to Fortnite Battle Royale in Season 4. We've never seen anything like this, but it's an update that's going to give everyone, especially high-level players, an even greater incentive to continue the grind. The base skin looks super cool, but after these upgrades, it'll look even better.

  • Challenge 1: Reach Season Level 25
    • Upgrade: Chest Armor
  • Challenge 2: Reach Season Level 35
    • Upgrade: Leg Armor
  • Challenge 3: Reach Season Level 45
    • Upgrade: Arm Pieces
  • Challenge 4: Reach Season Level 55
    • Upgrade: Helmet
  • Challenge 5: Reach Season Level 80
    • Upgrade: Entire (Super Rad) Upper Body

Once you complete three of the five Challenges (Level 45), you'll also be rewarded with the Pickaxe that goes along with the Omega Skin.

You can read our entire Battle Royale Survival Guide to find out all of the tips and tricks for scoring Victory Royale. But outside of completing as many challenges as you possibly can, here are the main tips you'll need to know for making the most of your grind to Tier 100.

  3. Get High-Powered Weapons ASAP: This is a no-brainer: Nab a Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, or a Shotgun early.
