Chase: Cold Case Investigations Distant Memories available in North America this Fall Mon, 04 Jul 2016 14:42:30 -0400 JessDambach

At the Anime Expo 2016, Aksys, announced that Chase: Cold Case Investigations - Distant Memories will be available to North America. This game is from Arc System Works and Taisuke Kanasaki, which was formerly from Cing and the Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and the Trace Memory series. This adventurous game will be available on Nintendo 3DS eShop in the fall of 2017.

This is a detective game, featuring the Tokyo Third Police Station working with unsolved cases in the investigation division. There are two detectives, a more comedic detective Shonosuke Nanase and the elite detective Koto Amekura. There was an explosion five years ago, and they received a phone call that it was not an accident--it was actually a murder. The detectives did not know the caller and although it was strange and without much information, they followed the trail.

Chase: Cold Case Investigations – Distant Memories was released in Japan two months ago.

Crossy Road Now Available On Android Sun, 14 Dec 2014 20:48:11 -0500 Ryan Mayle

It goes without saying, most great games for mobile phones often come to iPhone first, leaving Android users to hope developers port their game over. Today the extremely popular game Crossy Road comes to Android via the Amazon Appstore.

Crossy Road is very similar to Frogger, you control your character, attempting to cross the road to get to the other side. However, this time around you go for an eternity as the world never ends. The game is simple to control as you tap to go forward, then slide to move left and right. However, the art style itself is what really sets this game apart as it is very polished and clean. It has some fun, light humor and an appealing art style which will pull you into the game and you will quickly see how this game became such a success on the iOS platform.

If you would like to pick up the game, it's still free, but only available on the Amazon Appstore. So far there is no word about it's release on Google Play as the developer Hipster Whale has yet to update the game's website.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Will Release on Xbox One (No, Really This Time, Activision is For Sure) Tue, 29 Apr 2014 07:13:03 -0400 Elijah Beahm

Do enjoy delivering rough justice in what may be one of the most brightly colored costumes in the Marvel universe? Do you have an odd obsession with taking pictures of super heroes? Do you wish there was a Spider-Man game inspired not only by the recent movies, but also the '90s TV show? Do you want that game on Xbox One? Well congratulations; it turns out today may be your lucky day.

Despite earlier suggestion by Activision that the Xbox One version of Amazing Spider-Man 2 had been cancelled, it is now available on Xbox Live for not only 360 but also Xbox One and has been confirmed as playable by Game Informer. Curiously though, Metacritic still lists the Xbox One title as being 62 days from release, but since Activision has given no statement on delaying the game, it can only be assumed this was an error on Metacritic's part.

As of this writing, no reviews have released for the game, so be careful in your purchase. Those of you that pre-ordered on Xbox One should receive your bonuses and the game same as every other platform.
