Cyberpunk 2077 Respec: How to Reset Perk Points

Limited and expensive, here's how to respec in Cyberpunk 2077.

Limited and expensive, here's how to respec in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 offers you the option to respec your character, which allows you to reset and reacquire all your perk points, but you won’t be able to reset attributes. Your stats are also set throughout a playthrough and cannot be reset.

Respec will allow you to optimize your perk selection, but you won’t be able to rebuild your character from the ground up. Be sure to take the time early in your playthrough to look through the various perk trees and decide what you want to prioritize.

How to Respec in Cyberpunk 2077

To respec in Cyberpunk, you need a specific item: the Tabula E-Rasa. Known as a “Progression Shard,” you’ll find the item at any ripperdoc clinic. You’ll find those at any forceps icon on the map.

The Tabula E-Rasa is a legendary item and comes with a price tag to match. Just one of them is 100,000 Eurodollars.

Making that much money will take you at least a little time, no matter how quickly you rack up the eddies. It’s difficult to justify spending that much on one item, considering your Eurodollars could get you so many other worthwhile things.

Your best way to put together the scratch is going on a side mission spree and hunting down bounties. Sell whatever you can along the way, provided they’re not upgrades, and eventually you should be able to afford a Tabula E-Rasa.

Money in hand, shop at a ripperdoc, select the Trade option at the top of the screen, and purchase the E-Rasa. It will immediately reset all your perk points.

Now you’re free to respec your version of V as much as Cyberpunk will allow. At least for now. If you found this guide helpful, take a look at our other Cyberpunk 2077 guides here on GameSkinny.
