Dynamis Crystals are one of the most important high-level materials in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, used in quite a few different gear sets. FFXIV crafters likely won’t be able to get their hands on some until later in the expansion, but we’re here to help walk you through it.
How to Get Dynamis Crystals in Final Fantasy XIV
Your primary way of getting Dynamis Crystals lies in the final zone of FFXIV: Endwalker, Ultima Thule.
Again, you won’t arrive in Ultima Thule until the very tail-end of the expansion, but once you do there are two different creatures to be on the lookout for. Stellar Shelled Dragons (X:7.5, Y:21.2) and Stellar Wyverns (X:7.8, Y:18.8). There’s never a guarantee that these enemies are going to drop Dynamis Crystals, so if you’re getting frustrated there are two easier ways to grab them.
If you’ve got spare gil lying around you can check the Market Board and search Dynamis Crystals. There’s already a fair amount of listings in-game, but you’ll need the gil to spend.
The other alternative is to use Bicolor Gemstones at the Gemstone Trader. In Ultima Thule, the Gemstone Trader is named N-1499 and can be found at (X:30.9, Y:28.0). Each Dynamis Crystal will cost two Bicolor Gemstones, and you can earn more by completing FATEs on any map.
