Releasing in the upcoming spring, this most recent installment of the popular franchise will be available not only on the current generation of consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) in both digital and retail formats, but also on the last gen consoles, albeit in digital format only. The announcement trailer below teases fans with a multitude of new features, unseen in previous installments.

According to Team Ninja, developer of the Dead or Alive series, Last Round will not only have content from the previous releases of Dead or Alive 5 but will have new content as well. Last Round will run at 1080p and run at 60 frames per second when played on Xbox One and PS4. This means improved picture quality and smoother gameplay from previous installments.

Dead or Alive 5 will feature a larger roster than any other installment, as many as 300 costumes, and the ability to transfer content purchased for Dead or Alive: Ultimate.
