League of Legends Talks the Harrowing and Legacy Skins

League of Legends plans to re-release several legacy skins during the Harrowing event later in October.

As announced last ThursdayLeague of Legends is re-issuing several older, Limited Edition skins. One of these event releases is "the Harrowing," set around the Halloween holiday.

The Harrowing event will feature the release of several legacy skins as well as new skins for Zyra and Vi, Haunted Zyra and Officer Vi. The launch of the Harrowing will be with an upcoming patch.

The legacy skins that will be available during the Harrowing are as follows:

  • Mundo Mundo
  • Pumpkinhead Fiddlesticks
  • Kitty Cat Katrina
  • Zombie Ryze
  • Lollipoppy
  • Nosferatu Vladimir
  • FrankenTibbers Annie
  • Definitely Not Blitzcrank
  • Bewitching Nidalee
  • Haunting Nocturne
  • Headless Hecarim
  • Haunted Maokai
  • Underworld Twisted Fate
  • Headmistress Fiora
  • Pirate Ryze
  • Zombie Brand

The Harrowing release will also feature the re-release of all five Harrowing ward skins and the "unveiling of five new  summoner icons to earn throughout the event." This years event will also feature a little bit of trick with your treat in the form of mystery gifting. As Riot explains:

When you give a mystery gift, your purchase unlocks a random skin for a champion your friend owns. All skins in the store plus a selection of legacy skins are fair game, so your friend could end up with a legendary of even ultimate skin!

These are limited re-releases, so snap them up when they come available. More news about the skins and the Harrowing event can be found on the League of Legends website

Sounds like a great event. I'm personally excited for the FrankenTibbers Annie (but that's because Annie has the best looking skins.) Are you excited for any of the legacy releases?
