Shadowrun: Returns gets Release Date Later this Month

Shadowrun has been around 1993 and its about time we see a sequel to the SNES game we grew up with!

Shadowrun, originally a pen and paper table top game with the same name, gained a cult following in the early 80s and subsequently had a Super Nintendo game based off of it in 1993. The game was well received by fans, but didn’t sell enough to warrant a sequel. Shadowrun: Returns, a re-imagining of the 1993 Super Nintendo RPG which gained funding through Kickstarter last year has finally nailed down its release date to later this month. That’s right; June 26th is the official release date.

EDIT: It would appear that all previous mention of the June 26th release date originally tweeted by Shadowrun: Returns developer Hairbrained Schemes has been removed from Twitter. As has every mention of the release date reported by NeoSeeker. Could we be in for a delayed Summer release date?

Shadowrun: Returns will be available for PC and can be found on Steam.
