Thief Special Digital PC Edition Announced

A digital only PC special edition has been unveiled for Thief.

The “Master Thief” edition of Thief has been confirmed by Square Enix. This digital only edition will include the previously announced bonus mission, Bank Heist, as well as other bonuses.

Bank Heist involves the main character, Garrett, breaking into the Stonemarket First Bank to steal a family heirloom. This is the most secure location in the City and is complete with extra security measures. It is said to be similar to the First City, Bank and Trust mission from Thief 2. This mission will likely test the player and be very challenging.

This digital special edition will also include a collection of digital comic books, a digital art book and a booster pack of in-game power-ups, completely optional of course.

Thief is available for preorder and launches February 25, 2014 in North America and February 28 in Europe.

I admit that I have not actually played the Thief series, but I hear good things about it. It seems like my style of game, so I will probably play the past games and follow the new one.

What do you think of this digital special edition version? Will you be getting it? Let me know in the comments.
