I dare you… I double dare you to try to only watch one “Man at Arms” video.

Tony Swatton, a master weaponsmith and propsmith with an impressive list of film credits under his belt, has crafted a beautiful and functional replica of the Assassin’s Creed series Hidden Blade. And if that wasn’t enough, he also made a Pirates of the Caribbean inspired cutlass in honor of the release of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.

The weapon is based off the officially licensed Ubisoft toy, but Swatton’s work is not a toy. At all. He makes the real thing, and spares absolutely no detail. The Hidden Blade he creates is spring-loaded and deadly. After the documentary footage, which runs through Swatton and his crew’s detailed smithing processes, the crew takes the blade and cutlass to some poor unassuming melons and cans of energy drinks.

Swatton specializes in film and television prop weapons, but he’s been happy to branch out to the gaming world recently. The Man at Arms team has also forged the Master Sword from Legend of Zelda, Leona’s Zenith Blade from League of Legends, and Cloud’s Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII – not to mention other awesome creations like Wolverine Claws, Batarangs, and even Finn’s sword from Adventure Time.
