The first episode of last year’s award-winning adventure game series Life is Strange will be available for the low price of “free” starting Thursday, July 21st. Developer DONTNOD released a new trailer as well, introducing new players to Chloe, Max, and the strange town of Arcadia Bay.
The game, which is currently rated as having “overwhelmingly positive” acclaim on Steam and considered as an artistic achievement even by many outside the games industry, tasks players with using time-rewinding powers to solve puzzles and uncover the mystery of one girl’s disappearance. Along the way, they’ll find plenty of opportunities to use their powers to help those around them, sometimes even going so far as to save their lives.
The game is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, PC and Mac, so if you haven’t picked this series up yet, this is the perfect opportunity to try it on the platform of your choice.
