Fans of both the Professor Layton and Ace Attorney games can find something to love in Level 5’s upcoming Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney game for the Nintendo 3DS. Two new preview videos have been released that cover how the game will play, look, and sound.
I don’t know about you, but the music sounds fantastic. The visuals also look great, and the gameplay looks like a decent mix between the puzzles you find in Layton and the trials you handle in the Ace Attorney games. It will be interesting to see how they are balanced since the Layton games tend to be long just because the puzzles can take a lot of time.
Japan will be getting Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney on November 29th, but we have no official word as to when it will be localized. Considering the hefty fanbases of both games, I wouldn’t be surprised if it made its way over here mid 2013. We can hope!
