Nexon gave Korean players in-game items worth over $100,000 last month to apologize for the transition and to say goodbye to the playerbase.

Actoz Soft and Dragon Nest developer Eyedentity Games are both owned by Shanda Games, the one of the biggest names in the MMO industry in China.

Marking the end of the Nexon era, Actoz Soft met with Korean fans to assure them that the game will still be getting the same amount of attention as before. They also gave a look at the upcoming Rage of the Desert Dragon update and the new Dancer class advancement.

Will this affect Dragon Nest on an international scale? It’s possible, if the new publisher demands more content at a faster pace than Nexon did. Even so, it would not be surprising if the game took a few new turns under this new contract.
