Goat Simulator Release Date Announced!

Ready for Goat Simulator? Coffee Stain Studios announced it will be coming to PC April 1st. (This had better not be a joke, guys.)

If you can't wait any longer for Goat Simulator - there's mixed news!

You only have to wait a bit longer.

Coffee Stain Studios has announced that the game about goats, being made by popular demand, is going live April 1st.

"Goat Simulator was inspired from old-school skating games, where, instead of being a skater, you’re a goat, and instead of doing skating tricks, you wreck stuff. Charging into a table and knocking it over yields points, and if you can manage to do it while doing a backflip first and a 360 afterwards, you’ll score even more points. With Steam integration, Goat Simulator will also support Steam Workshop where players will be able to make their own goats, missions, levels and more."

- Armin Ibrisagic, Coffee Stain Studios

Want to play it early? Get thee to GDC.

Coffee Stain Studios will debut playable versions of Goat Simulator at GDC San Francisco, 17-21st March 2014. They will also be showing A Story About My Uncle, a first person adventure developed by Gone North Games, that will be released in Summer 2014.

This is very, VERY good news! I only recently heard about this, and I couldn't resist preordering it.

I seriously cannot wait. If goats weren't illegal where I live, I'd have a lady goat named Higgins.

As you can see, this game solves a very real need for me.

Let's hope this isn't some elaborate April Fool's Day prank, haha.
