Last the Twitch community came together and played the original Pokemon game originally on the GameBoy, through using the Twitch chat input and streaming functions. Now that a year has passed, the community is taking on a larger feat. Twitch is now aiming to complete Dark Souls using the same streaming service, with the same features.
Challenge Dark Souls Accepted
The live stream Twitch Plays Dark Souls called TwitchPlaysDark just started and is still in the beginning stages of the game at Undead Asylum. There are thousands of gamers and supporters coming together to complete Dark Souls, and we can only hope they’ll succeed with the 22 chat commands that are available through Twitch chat.
While tomfoolery is bound to ensue, it would be wonderful to see this challenging game completed by such a profoundly large community.
Some may believe that Dark Souls isn’t too difficult to beat from the history of completion using the Rock Band guitar controller, voice commands, and a Donkey Kong bongo drum controllers. Though there is a possibly of beating the game without even leveling up, using the chat commands will prove to be challenging with the large crowd that is contributing.
