Sony Has a "Good Feeling" Titanfall Will Hit PS4

Did Sony just claim that Titanfall will come to the PS4 in 2015...?

As everyone knows by now Titanfall is not coming to the PlayStation 4.  Well, not yet, anyway.

Considering that developer Respawn Entertainment is an independent studio, they can produce their game for any platform they choose. Perhaps they signed an exclusivity deal with Microsoft, but what if it's only for a year? SCEE Brand Manager Alex Moyet made the distinct implication that in due time, Titanfall will arrive on Sony's new console.

She made the following comment on Twitter; it has since been removed, but Gamepur caught it before it disappeared:

"Nah we might have to wait another year or so but I've got a good feeling it'll come to PS4."

This is a common theory among gamers, but to hear it come from a high-ranking Sony boss is significant. As for Respawn, it's not really surprising that they're siding with Microsoft. Former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella founded the new team, and IW was responsible for the super huge Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games. CoD is bigger on the Xbox platform in this country, which is why all DLC still debuts first on Xbox.

It wouldn't be the first time a new series came to Xbox first and later arrived on PlayStation. BioWare's Mass Effect comes readily to mind. The question is whether or not PS4 owners really want Titanfall... sure they do, right?

I played the beta on PC and loved it! This coming from someone who's really not that big on multiplayer games. I think the PS4 would run it better than XB1. And I do believe that eventually it will come to PS4 as well as Steam. I don't know about PS3 though. I have it preordered for 360 and am curious as to how it will look and run. The ONLY reason I didn't get it for PC was I have some close friends that are MS fanboys and want to play on 360 with me. So being the loyal friend I am, I agreed, LOL! Someday I'll get a PS4 and maybe by then, Titanfall 2 will be out on all platforms!

Yeah this is the same dev that claimed PS4 was not powerful enough to run Titanfall and took the MS bribe to deny the game from appearing on Playstation. The game is not that special anyway. It's basically Call Of Robot and the XB1 does not have the power to run it properly. It's looks really ugly compared to the PC version that was use to generate all the hype. I'm definitely not going to reward corruption that slapped me in the face, so I will never buy any version of Titanfall on PS4 ever.

"Considering that developer Respawn Entertainment is an independent studio, they can produce their game for any platform they choose."
This is true, and I hope the game does come to PS4, it can't be "the next evolution in fast paced FPS shooters" if it's not, it also needs to be on PS3, for the same reason, everyone needs to be able to play it, same reason it needs to be on Steam.
Having said that, it is the choice of the publisher, as they fund the game, they can pick if funds can be used for development on other platforms. If Respawn self published, they could do that themselves, but as EA is publishing...well they like controlling the development of their games.
But I want Sony players to be able to play the game, and I don't want to use Origin, but if I have to, so be it, good CoD (CoD4 and MW2) with mechs? What can go wrong? Well, EA, but shhh.

I THINK I want it...if it really innovates in the realm of shooters, I'll have to try it.

You're a heavily opinionated gamer and you don't own a PC, XB1, or XB360 to play it on? Not only that you haven't even tried the game at a friends house? Scratch that last one I know why you haven't done that.

I haven't because I've been extremely busy and I have plenty of games to play.

Forgive me for not owning every platform on earth.
