Krag leaned in towards the fire ever so slightly on showing his snout and the gnarled teeth he had. “You know, they say this house once belonged to a witch.”
“I heard that she was a demon from Grenth himself. That he made her the most beautiful creature to lure the men who betrayed him. That Grenth made her to resemble his only love.” Kott added
“They say that her clothes were made from feathers she plucked straight from the birds of the underworld and the cloth used from hide of Aatxes.” piped in Fursta. “And that she makes nightly sacrifices to Grenth”
“Rumor has it that if you listen hard enough, you can hear the screams of the children she stole and the men she decieved. That you can hear the cracks from the skulls she crushs and the agony of the men she’s tortured to death.”
“The myth is that she wears the mask to hide her face, and that one look at her face, can have any man under her control. That no once you’re under her control, there’s no hope.” Kott explained
“Rubbish! I could take her any day. My grandpap fought in the Ascolonian war and I am 3 times the warrior he is!” Krag said as he raised his sword. Little did he know the witch was watching and listening to all the rumors they were telling about her.
Krag looked around nervously and turned to the house, “Do you hear that? It’s the witch!” “I can take her!” yelled Krag. Making as brave as a defense he can for only being a young cub. “For the Blood Legion!” he yelled as he rushed ahead.
The rest of the charr cubs ran away from the witch with intense fear. Kott ran and by the time he looked back he couldn’t find Krag anywhere. When he returned the next morning all that remained from the night before was the hot coals and Krag’s wooden sword.
