Elder Scrolls Online to Release New Beta Invites

New invites to the Elder Scrolls Online are being rolled out.

Update: ESO has released a second, larger batch of beta invites so check emails again! The new batch rolled out at approximatly 6:45 EST.

Elder Scrolls fans, be on the watch for an email that may be headed your way. Zenimax Studios has stated that new invites are being rolled out. Exact numbers on how many have been invited was not mentioned.

Zenimax Studios want to make sure that people check certain places in their email programs to make sure that those who received the invites can find them. One place they mentioned is the spam folder, just in case it is kicked out for being junk. Gmail users had further instructions. According to Zenimax, the promotions tab is where this email should be filtered if you receive it.

Information regarding future roll outs can be found in various places pending fans don't receive an invite in this go-round. The places mentioned include:

Elder Scrolls Online is still in Beta status with no release date currently set. It will be released on the following platforms:

  • Windows
  • Apple
  • PlayStation
  • Xbox.

    I'd be careful how much you spread that around. Part of the NDA you agreed to means that access to the beta is confidential.

    I am well aware that beta testing a game is no ones right, and that it is a privilege :)!

    However I can't feel a little peeved at RNG, I applied as soon as the beta applications went up (literally before the whole thing crashed), I filled it out to the max, filled the progress/chance bar up to the max % - and still no invite.

    QQ over! :D. Congratulations to everyone who is in.

    I truly hope the game is worth the monthly subscription, and that is manages to flourish on consoles :) We haven't had a great MMO on a Microsoft console since Phantasy Star Online, sorry FFXI but it is true.

    Sony has FFXIV and DCUO, both great games on console and PC.

    I understand your sentiments. I had good creds on the bar myself and signed up within 10 mins of sign ups launching.
