Think classic side scrolling brawler beat ’em up – with a twist.
The small development studio Dinosaur has come to PAX this year with a little gem for those of us that love side scrolling beat em ups: Mech Knight Chronicles, with inspirations coming from such cult classics as Guardian Heroes, as well taking some queues from more recent successes like Castle Crashers and taking some pointers from the fighting games genre.
This games allows players to wield a mech knight: heroes with the enhanced abilities to save the world.
Combat
You’ll fight to level up your character, learning more combos and unleashing powerful attacks along the way. Each character has a number of unique combos and special moves. This game is not only fun, but gives the player a barrier of skill in which to climb and be better. High level techniques like dash cancels, invincible moves, counters.
Game Play
The game supports 4 player co-op and rewards the players for keeping the combo together. Team work is important, don’t just style by yourself, style as a TEAM!.

These developers know what they are doing! They are passionate about the genre, and very much willing to listen to the fan base. Be sure to support them by liking them on Facebook and posting feedback and suggestions.
One of the best indie games of PAX East 2013, and the game is extremely young. Looking forward to seeing more.
