Vengeance DLC

On July 2, the Vengeance DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will drop first on Xbox Live. This is the third DLC that Treyarch has offered for download since the launch of Black Ops 2 last November. The Vengeance DLC will feature four new multiplayer maps, a new zombies experience and the Ray Gun Mark 2. The new multiplayer maps are: Cove, Rush, Detour and the fan favorite map from the original Black Ops game, Summit, will return as a completely redesigned map called Uplink.

Zombies, Zombies, Zombies

Whether it’s The Walking Dead, World War Z, or any other zombie show or movie, it’s proven that we love zombies. We also love to slay waves of zombies in games like Call of Duty and Dead Rising. Keeping the tradition alive, Treyarch has once again added another thrilling zombies experience into their already fun game. With multiple new zombie maps in the first Black Ops, Treyarch has established themselves for coming up with jaw-dropping gameplay and story lines focused on zombies. On July 2nd, Treyarch’s latest creation called “Buried” will go live on Xbox Live. Treyarch describes the new map best by saying this on callofduty.com,

Players will be challenged to face their deepest fears, trapped inside a long-forgotten subterranean Old West mining town infested with swarms of the undead.

I don’t know about you, but I think this is going to be one crazy map!

The Ray Gun Mark II

If you’ve played Call of Duty zombies recently you’ll know and probably love, the Ray Gun. A futuristic laser gun and will annihilate any zombies in your way. Make sure to have juggernaut to void any splash damage that you might catch in a close quarters situation.

Now, in addition to the new multiplayer and zombies maps, Treyarch is adding a new weapon to Black Ops 2 Zombies. Treyarch is not a stranger to adding new weapons to the game. Earlier, we were introduced to the Peacekeeper and all new SMG that was in the Revolution Map Pack. With Vengeance, they are taking their experience with adding weapons and applying it to Zombies. The Ray Gun Mark II gives a fresh new light to the already amazing super weapon they we all know and love. At this moment, we’re not sure if the Ray Gun Mark II will perform like its predecessor. I think it’s safe to assume the Ray Gun Mark II will put a smile on the players face when it comes up in the mystery box on July 2.

Achievements and Trophies For “Buried”

We all love to show off our XBL Achievements and PSN Trophies to our friends and competitors. Along side the new Zombies map, “Buried,” players will get 10 new achievements/trophies to unlock.
