15 Minutes of Uncharted 4 Gameplay Unveiled At PlayStation Experience

Naughty Dog showed off 15 minutes of gameplay from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End at Playstation Experience.

The heavily anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is being teased by Naughty Dog during the PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas this weekend. We’ve all been wondering what Nathan Drake has been up to since the new Uncharted was first announced alongside the PS4’s launch. The answer? He’s looking better than ever and has some new tricks up his sleeve to boot.

The gameplay trailer shows off the stunning graphics we’ve all been expecting for the first Uncharted on PS4 Nathan Drake is up to his usual climbing, jumping, ass-kicking and death-defying routine in a stunning game world. We see him scale a cliff side and take out a small army of gun-toting soldiers with stealth takedowns, gunplay, and one particularly awesome move wherein he throws his grappling hook to a nearby grapple point in order to swing down into an enemy, knock him out, catch his gun and start shooting another – all in one fell swoop.

It’s a somewhat short teaser of what is likely to be a vast adventure game, but it’s enough to curb the appetite of all the Uncharted junkies eagerly awaiting Drake’s arrival on PS4.

The trailer ends with Drake meeting up with his big brother, voiced by none other than Troy Baker himself (because let’s face it, you can’t even make games without giving Troy Baker VO work anymore) and gives players a small peek at one of the new characters who’ll appear in the game when it launches December 31 next year.

I'm a shameless geek for anything comedy, gaming and coffee. I play most of my games on PlayStation and drink my coffee with butter. I have deep admiration for the works of Joseph Campbell, and as such, have a love for powerful stories and engaging narratives in games and beyond. I play anything story driven, mostly Action-Adventure games, RPGs and anything open-world. I've been writing about games for years and I'm now committing dangerously large chunks of time to that, occasionally streaming (twitch.tv/thebenjamski) and putting putting out Let's Play videos in the near future. Cool cool cool.
