Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PC Specs and Requirements

Update: EA revises the recommended RAM requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Update 10/9/19: EA has revised the recommended RAM requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Taking to Twitter late yesterday, EA’s Ben Walke said that Fallen Order would need only 16GB of RAM instead of the previously recommended (and eye-popping) 32GB.

Original Story:

EA posted both the minimum and recommended PC specs for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order today on Origin. With relatively conservative processor and GPU requirements, everything seems like what one would expect. At least initially.

Shockingly, the recommended specs are a bit out of the ordinary. In fact, one particular recommendation is well beyond what most players have in their rigs. Here’s what we know.

Jedi Fallen Order Minimum PC Specs

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7/8.1/10
  • Processor (AMD): FX-6100 or Equivalent
  • Processor (Intel): i3-3220 or Equivalent
  • Memory: 8 GB
  • Graphics card (AMD): Radeon HD 7750 or Equivalent
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce GTX 650 or Equivalent
  • DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Hard-drive space: 55 GB

Jedi Fallen Order Recommended PC Specs

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7/8.1/10
  • Processor (AMD): Ryzen 7 1700 or Equivalent
  • Processor (Intel): i7-6700K or Equivalent
  • Memory: 32 GB
  • Graphics card (AMD): RX Vega 56 or Equivalent
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): GTX 1070 or Equivalent
  • DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Hard-drive space: 55 GB

Yes, that disturbance in the Force you felt was real: that’s 32GB of Random Access Memory that EA recommends to play Fall Order

Thirty. Two. Giga. Bytes.

There’s no indication why such a high spec might be recommended, particularly when the other requirements aren’t nearly as drastic. That’s not to mention mos modern games use 16GB at most.

The recent trailer for Fallen Order doesn’t showcase anything too demanding or out of the ordinary, so this one’s a bit of a head-scratcher. Or, perhaps, a simple typo.

It’s always possible these requirements might change, too, and we’ll update this specs list should that be the case.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release on November 15 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
