3.7 Patch Hits Aion Wednesday, I Stop Crying Over Inventory Space

It can be hard to really look forward to Aion updates that aren't 4.0. It seems so close, yet so far! Well deal with it, buddy. We're still in 3.x territory and we have a patch coming.

It can be hard to really look forward to Aion updates that aren't 4.0. It seems so close, yet so far! Well deal with it, buddy. We're still in 3.x territory and we have a patch coming.

Aion 3.7 is on the way on Wednesday, and it's bringing some nifty updates that we all want. Trust me.

New Instance

There isn't any information on this yet! It will be located in Silentera Canyon and will give AP rewards, but we won't know much else until the patch hits tomorrow.

Reskin Dem Wings

Along with 3.7 comes wing reskinning. Take those ugly wings with great stats and make them look nice! This will no doubt be pricey (wings are pretty expensive), but will be well-worth it for the fashion-conscious Daeva.

Composite Manastones

New manastones with two properties in one are on the way. This may lead to some more build diversity -- or it might just lead to everyone to have double the stat boosts. Who knows for now! I do know this manastone looks very enticing, as will the others like it.

Special Cube

AKA The Best Part of 3.7

Inventory space is the most valuable piece of real estate in Aion. Everyone needs more inventory space, all the time. Which is why the Special Cube has me so excited.

The Special Cube's function is simple: It holds quest items. And coins. And medals. No longer will quests I've ignored eat away at my inventory!

Sure, giving us more cubes in general would be pretty nice. But I'm partial to having those useless quest items being put in their own little cube. The medals and coins going in there is just an added (yet appreciated) bonus.

We will be getting patch notes and the patch tomorrow! Enjoy the new manastones and the oh-so-desired Special Cube, Daevas!

[Update: Patch notes!]
