This program provides younger Fortnite players with mentorship designed to put them on the right path for an esports career.

Some of the benefits of the Junior Rogue Program include a $500 scholarship and access to resources unavailable outside the program. Participants also have the unique opportunity to be mentored by professional Fortnite players, and will learn directly from the captain of Rogue’s Fortnite team, and the first professional esports athlete to be sponsored by State Farm, Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo.

Other benefits included of Junior Rogue include promotion on social media, access to graphical assets for stream channels alongside access to Find Your Grind events, and exclusive Junior Rogue merch.

Team members will attend weekly seminars on esports related careers and participate in game nights. They’ll also be coached in practical activities like resume building. And, of course, they will have the opportunity to demonstrate what they’re learning as part of the Junior Rogue roster during streamed online tournaments.

When the Spring 2019 semester of Junior Rogue kicks off on March 4, it will welcome 18 new players. All of the players are under the age of 17, but are highly competitive, focus on streaming, and aren’t afraid to shake things up in order to produce good content.

The 18 Fortnite PC players account for only 2% of all the applications submitted for entrance to the spring semester and include: AJO, Orange, TeeJayFN, Bweis, Faint, Fluctra, Skippy_, SloGro, PumpShottyRush, Megga., ottobite, Upsilon, TeKae, t_mmy, Doised, Conjurings, Snowy, and nusui.

Junior Rogue is backed by ReKTGlobal, whose founder, Amish Shah, noted the program is structured like basketball camp, and designed for the next generation of Fornite-loving esports stars.

We are excited to kick off the new semester and improve upon the success of the previous semester by providing some of the best players in the nation with unforgettable mentorship and scholarship opportunities that allow them to further pursue their passions for esports and gaming.

The program’s mentor, DrLupo, also noted his excitement for the upcoming semester, stating, “I’m so excited for the next wave of players to join Junior Rogue. I know they’ll learn so much and I can’t wait to have my time with them too!”
