Riot, hardly content in their multiple castles made of money, announced earlier this week that they are releasing a new skin. The skin is labeled “a Butcher long imprisoned.”
While people have joked that this skin is for Infernal Teemo, it’s definitely the skin for Scorched Earth Renekton. Originally displayed in March 2013, Scorched Earth Renekton was never officially released. Now the new Renekton skin is on its way.

For many moons our prison held the butcher at bay, but now it’s simply a matter of time before he erupts onto the rift. You’ve been warned.
Even if they hadn’t already shown the skin in action, there’s one other major sign that the skin is for Renekton. Renekton is also known as the “Butcher of the Sands.” Also, if you save the header image as a file, it auto-fills ‘Renekton’ as the filename.
No word yet on when the Scorched Earth Renekton skin will be available to the public, but it is currently available in PBE.
