For the first time ever, Aion Korea is allowing players to swap factions. This is a feature that has been long sought after by players on all servers. Will we see it over here one day?
I came across this thread while browing the official forums and wandered to the link provided to see if it was legit. My Korean is terrible these days and Google Translate doesn’t do much to clear things up, but it’s pretty obvious that a faction change event is going on.
If someone who could actually read Korean could be so kind as to give the gist of this event, it would be much appreciated. All Google Translate spits out is that a faction change can be won and what the restrictions are (there are indeed a lot of them).
Even if the details are iffy and this is an event on the Korean Aion servers, it’s still exciting that this could be a possibility on Aion NA. The one downside is that you can’t bring AP items over when you switch over, so a great deal of level 60’s wouldn’t even bother if given the option to change faction. Even so, exciting news for toons who haven’t gotten their AP farm on yet.
