Action JRPG CryMachina Releases Opening Cinematics

NIS America has revealed the opening cinematics of the upcoming action JRPG CryMachina.

Today, the developers of CryMachina, Furyu Corporation, revealed the JRPG's stunning opening cinematics. CryMachina is set in a post-apocalyptic future where humanity no longer exists, and androids known as Dei ex Machina are the only traces of people left.

The opening cinematics features a high-quality animation that introduces us to the main characters including Lebel Distel, a young girl who is awakened and guided by an android named Enoa. The video includes the CryMachina's theme song “NotToNotice();” by the voice actress of Enoa, Hikaru Tono, and there is no denying that it is some ear candy.

The game will include customizable weapons and promises fast-paced action RPG combat. Players can anticipate fighting mechanical enemies in the battlegrounds of Eden, and rest in a sanctuary named the Imitation Garden, where they can chat with characters.

The cast includes three E.V.E. droids, who are infused with the consciousness of deceased humans and are on a journey to discover what it means, and how to become, truly human.

The narrative alone is certainly intriguing, especially when paired with the juicy cinematics, and we can’t wait to see more. CryMachina will be released sometime in Fall 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. The game will release earlier in Japan, on July 6, 2023. We will keep you updated with CryMachina as more information is revealed.
