New Pokemon Snap Celebrations Abound for Pokemon GO

With the release of New Pokemon Snap on Nintendo Switch, Pokemon GO players will be able to get in on the fun in their own way.

New Pokemon Snap will be releasing on Nintendo Switch on April 30, but that good news isn’t just for Switch fans. Pokemon GO players will also be able to get in on the Pokemon-photography action with a special event set in the Lental region from April 29 to May 2, 2021.

The event begins at 10 a.m. local time and ends at 8 p.m. local time on those days.

Inspired by New Pokemon Snap, this event will be photography-based, and players can expect to see different pokemon from many different habitats either in the wild or on raids. Pokemon include Lotad, Cacnea, Ducklett, Vaporeon, Meganium, and Trapinch. Players will have an even greater chance to acquire a Shiny Smeargle, and a camera avatar and camera-themed sticker will be available in the shop and at PokeStops.

On top of all that, there will even be Field Research and Timed Research exclusive to this event focused on taking cute Pokemon snapshots.

Needless to say, it is a very exciting time to be a Pokemon fan, as the IP continues to grow and quality content continues to be added to games like Pokemon GO
