Every new generation of Pokemon games adds several new legendary Pokemon to the roster, and if you happen to miss one installment, it makes catching ’em all rather difficult. If that sounds like you, then you’ll be pleased with the Pokemon Company’s latest announcement. Every legendary Pokemon from previous games will be available in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon, with each version having its own exclusives.
In both games, all legendary Pokemon will be found in Ultra Wormholes, which are found in the Ultra Space. Here are the exclusives for each version.
Pokemon Ultra Sun-Exclusive Legendaries
- Ho-oh
- Raikou
- Groudon
- Latios
- Dialga
- Heatran
- Reshiram
- Tornadus
- Xerneas
Pokemon Ultra Moon-Exclusive Legendaries
- Lugia
- Entei
- Kyogre
- Latias
- Palkia
- Regigigas
- Zekrom
- Thundurus
- Yveltal
Conditional Legendary Pokemon
Some legendary Pokemon can only be captured once you have a specific one in your party.
- Suicune (must have Raikou and Entei)
- Rayquaza (must have Kyogre and Groudon)
- Giratina (must have Dialga and Palkia)
- Kyurem (must have Reshiram and Zekrom)
- Landorus (must have Tornadus and Thundurus
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be released Nov. 17 for the 3DS family of systems.
