Yes: Like Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Nioh 2, Animal Crossing: New HorizonsDoom Eternal, and the just-announced Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DXit’s another March game. We feel your pain.

The trailer gives us an extended look at some characters the previous trailer introduced us to, plus some extras. We see them in a variety of combat situations, though the fighting isn’t quite what it seems at first glance.

Though the initial conflict is the usual RPG fare of big country invades little country, the overarching conflict revolves around an ancient war of the gods that pit light and chaos against each other. It was never fully resolved, though. Now, the powers of light and darkness now reside in specific weapons that have the power to unleash chaos across the land.

We also get the chance to witness Langrisser‘s defining choice feature in action. At pivotal points in the story, the game tasks you with choosing how you wish to proceed and what characters you want to interact with or involve in certain situations. Your choices can have drastic consequences on how the story plays out, which sets the Langrisser series apart from other SRPGs in magic medieval settings.

We’re fast approaching Langrisser I & II‘s March 10 launch date, so stay tuned to GameSkinny for more information as it unfolds.
