After watching Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference, I’m convinced that their development team holds weekly in-house fighting tournaments on a daily basis. I just get the feeling that Ubisoft loves violence.

Ubisoft is releasing a ton of great action-packed games this year, and luckily for us, their presentation gave us a glimpse at some of the more promising titles scheduled to come.

So without further ado, here is a quick-run down on some honorable mentions.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ubisoft’s next open-world cooperative game is coming March 2017, and it’s the right kind of title for anyone who’s into the whole “coordinated teamwork” sort of deal.

Shown above is the E3 demo, which simulates an entertaining — albeit unrealistic — coordinated effort between friends attempting to take down their target.

It’s been confirmed that the game will release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows 10.

It looks promising. But I would keep my eyes peeled for further updates. Their last open-world coordinated action-packed game didn’t do so well in the long-run.

The Division: Underground DLC and more!

However, from the looks of it, it seems like Ubisoft is dead-set on addressing the declining population of The Division.

Three paid DLC expansions are expected to release in the next coming year, and Underground is the first to roll out.

Underground will introduce:

  • New items
  • New zones
  • More Dark Zone districts
  • A new criminal Incursion codenamed, “Dragon’s Nest.”

The next planned expansion, Survival, is will introduce new survival elements into the game. Mechanics like scavenging for food and adapting to dangerous weather conditions will make the game feel much more immersive than the past.

Survival is expected to release sometime this summer.

For Honor

Deadliest Warrior, just now more polished.

For Honor will let you master the flow of the fight from three unique perspectives.

Shown above is the E3 demo for the game, which allows you to play as a Samurai, Knight, or Viking — the three greatest warriors of all time. In this game, players will cut a bloody path through an engaging story campaign, and can even take it to their friends in groundbreaking multiplayer modes.

The game is scheduled to release February 2017, and will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows 10.

Watch Dogs 2

Like its predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 is backed up with a great amount of hype.

Luckily, Ubisoft shared some details and exclusive gameplay footage that shows this installment may not be a complete flop like before.

Taking place in San Francisco, Watch Dogs 2 will put you in command of Marcus Holloway, an individual part of the hacker team, Dedsec, who delves a little bit in parkour. Outfitted with gadgets and unique tools and weaponry, the players will engage the local police and armed forces in entertaining unorthodox ways. And I’m happy to announce that we don’t have to wait long to enjoy it.

It has been confirmed that Watch Dogs 2 will release March 2017.

Steep

Ubisoft announced a new skiing sports game, and they even find a way to make it action-packed and thrilling.

Schedule to released December 2016Steep will put players onto the peaks of high mountains and partake in exhilarating sports that allow for freedom of movement.

Paragliding, snowboarding, wingsuiting, and skiing — these are all different ways players can choose to travel and play. The vast amount of activities to choose from makes this game very promising to anyone who’s interested in pulling off some of the craziest stunts.

Conclusion

My fellow writer covered the other half of the Ubisoft conference, so go ahead and check it out here. With a wide array of titles expected to release, Ubisoft continues to be a big publisher for well-developed titles.
