Picked as a good choice for the Wii U, Brain Age is officially the first game available. Brain Age released for Wii U Virtual Console on Tuesday. Players will be able to download the title for free until the end of month, June 30th. The DS version sold more than 19 million copies.

With the screen orientation of Brain Age requiring users to hold their DS like a book, implementation of this title was more than likely easier to manage for the first cross-over. Users will not have to rotate the gamepad to play. The two screens show up side-by-side on the virtual console.

With Nintendo’s E3 announcement less than a week away, the possibility of more details on DS integration to the Wii U Virtual Console could be a highlight during the show.
