Disney Dreamlight Valley Eternity Isle Act II Details

We’ve been speculating about the Lucky Villager for a while now, and all we had to go on were a few hints and teases. The biggest giveaway was the black-and-white filters taking over the Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter and in-game dialogue boxes. Now, we know for sure that our theories were correct. The official trailer for the Act II update, The Spark of Imagination, shows us the villager is precisely who we thought — Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Plus, we got a more in-depth view in their Developer Update video.

What better way to kick off another act for Eternity Isle than a brand-new villager? We can befriend him just like the other villagers and earn some unique-themed rewards by earning Friendship levels with him. We’ll get to place his retro, old movie theater house anywhere in our Valleys. And, we’ll see a few critters even change to black and white as well. But along with those fun Oswald activities, we’ll get more Eternity Isle story quests, where we’ll uncover more about the island’s mysteries. That includes unlocking some areas we haven’t been to before, like the mysterious ruins.

Unfortunately, this update will only be available for those who have already purchased the expansion A Rift in Time. This means Oswald will also only be available for players with the expansion. However, at the same time, the Thrills & Frills update will roll out for all the free players to enjoy, with the addition of Daisy Duck.

Both updates will be released very soon, on May 1, 2024! Updates will start rolling out for your game starting at 9 am EST, but it can differ slightly for each console as well, so keep an eye out.
