Looney Rally Drifts Onto Steam With 40 Percent Launch Discount

The just-released indie racing title hits Steam at a low cost for a limited time.

Independent developer BeshevGames has announced that the racing title Looney Rally has launched on Steam after its development finished ahead of schedule.

Looney Rally was initially priced at $2.99 (£2.09), although the Bulgarian-based studio has temporarily discounted the title by 40 percent, so it currently retails at $1.79 (£1.25).

According to BeshevGames, Looney Rally’s launch price drop will last until February 24.

“I wanted to make a small game, which will remind the player of the good old small racing games but, at the same time, with a bit of modern feel to it,” BeshevGames said.

Looney Rally allows players to take control of a racecar, buggy or truck to compete against “ambitious” AI drivers.

The minimum system requirements for Looney Rally, available now on Steam, can be found below.

  • OS: Microsoft Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 10
  • Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 or Intel Core i3-7100T
  • Memory: 2GB RAM
  • Graphics: Intel HD 5000 or Radeon R5 M320 or GeForce GTX 280M
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 512MB available space
