What A Doozy!
So, WildStar just entered closed beta about a week ago, and are already putting out their first patch to make the game more enjoyable. There’s a lot of stuff to cover, and if you are interested, you can check it out for yourself, here. Anyways, here’s a list of bullet points that caught my eye in game.
- Level 17-22 dungeon: Stormtalon
- 3v3 PVP Arenas
- Loads of detail on how trade skills will work, and updates to them
- Information on various class abilities, giving you more insight on the classes themselves
- Housing appears to be available in the Beta already
- Path’s are being tweaked and updated
All of these little updates to the game help someone who hasn’t been able to get into the beta yet. The one that really caught my eye was the little bit about the Settler path. Sheriff and Mayor missions sound cool, and could be a nice play on what a Settler can do. Originally, all we knew about settlers was helping bring vendors and buildings into zones, but now they may have a bit more to cover. Hunting down bad guys, administration of various things through a zone or village, etc.
I really can’t wait to get into the beta, I’ve been excited for so long! I really want to play a Granok Warrior on the settler path, or a Draken Stalker on the Settler path, or…or… blah! I want this game! Come on Carbine!
