As you may or may not know, GameStop will be selling three-pack of amiibo that includes Duck Hunt, R.O.B, and Mr. Game & Watch. According to a moderator on Reddit, you will need a PowerUp Rewards Pro membership in order to attend the preorder event an hour before most GameStops open.
Reports have been conflicting one another. Some people said the membership won’t be required, and some said it would be. Now reports are changing: the subscription may be required by stores on Saturday for buyers to get in an hour early, but the subscription is not needed for the regular event. But no need to fret, you can buy a subscription Saturday morning.
The moderator also stated that the three-pack of amiibo will cost $34.99 and $5 will be required upfront at the event. The stores should receive allocation numbers on Thursday and have them posted in stores on Saturday.
There will be 6 SKUs up for reserve on Saturday, the three-pack and five individual SKU. This more than likely be Olimar, Zero Suit Samus, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, and the 30th Anniversary 8-bit Classic Mario.
