We were led to believe the iconic figure Master Chief was dead by recent commercials for Halo 5: Guardians. However, that is only the “official” story that has fed to us.
The new commercial tells us that the game actually is about the unofficial story in the Halo universe.
“The only thing worse than losing a hero, is watching him turn against us,” states the narrator, concerning Master Chief.
Halo 5: Guardians follows the story of Spartan Locke and his battle against the legendary super soldier Master Chief. The Osiris Fire Team sets out to hunt down and stop Master Chief.
The new commercial will air during the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead.
Halo 5: Guardians will be released on October 27th for the Xbox One.
