Nintendo UK recently released a trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Legends that revealed which characters will be playable in the game. In addition to the characters included in Hyrule Warriors, the Wii U version of the title — Link, Impa, Zelda, Lana, Sheik, Darunia, Ruto, Midna, Agitha, Fi, Zant, Ghirahim, Ganondorf, Cia, Volga, and Wizzro — the 3DS version of the title will apparently include the following characters:
- Linkle (original character)
- Tingle (The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and others)
- Tetra (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass)
- King Daphnes (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker)
- Toon Link (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass)
- Twili Midna (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)
- Young Link (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask)
- Skull Kid (The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask)
As a fan of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask myself, I’m glad to see that so many characters from the title are being included in Hyrule Warriors: Legends — though it’s unsurprising to see both them and characters from Wind Waker on the list, given the recent HD re-releases of both games.
