The Walking Dead: 400 Days is a Full Non-Linear DLC Episode

400 Days is a DLC episode telling five small stories linking together to connect Season 1 with the upcoming Season 2 of Telltale's adventure game.

The Walking Dead from Telltale Games is a work of art.  It caught everyone by surprise with exactly how moving and revolutionary the game was, and how well it captured the essential spirit of the franchise.  Lately Telltale has been giving us little teasing glimpses of something called 400 Days, something we now know to be a full DLC episode for Season 1.

The episode is intended to tell five short stories linking the events of Season 1 to the upcoming Season 2, with each short story running between fifteen and twenty minutes and focusing on a different character.  The characters in the DLC episode will be new, showing us a look at different experiences with the first 400 days of the zombie outbreak.  While the different stories will have a chronological order, they do not need to be played in that chronological order, creating a non-linear experience if desired.

Telltale has hinted there will be a few familiar faces, but not given us any specific information about who those familiar faces might be.  The DLC should be out sometime in July and players will need to own at least episode 1 of season 1 to be able to play it.
