BioShock Infinite just a bit further out of reach now

Irrational games delays the release of BioShock Infinite until March 26th.

If you have been anxiously waiting for BioShock Infinite like the rest of the world, then unfortunately, you have to wait a little longer. Irrational Games has postponed the launch of the next installment in the wildly popular BioShock series until March 26th, 2013.

According to developer Ken Levine this is definitely a good thing.

“When [Producer] Rod Ferguson came on board from Epic, he came up to see the game. He took a look at it and he fell in love with it,” Levine explained. “He spent a few weeks at the company. We sat down, and he said ‘I think the game’s great, but I think it could really use three or four weeks of polish and bug fixing time.'”

Well, if the delay makes a great game better, then it’s probably worth the wait.

BioShock Infinite will be available on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Hopefully, we will see you there.
