Microsoft Reverses Unanimously Terrible Policies

Microsoft reverses many of their questionable policies regarding the Xbox One.

According to IGN, Microsoft has confirmed a reversal to many of their less than popular policies including their stance on used games and online check-ins every 24 hours.

Microsoft’s Don Mattrick reportedly wrote:

“Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback, I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One. You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world.”

**Who is this guy with all the flip flopping? John Kerry?! (Joke circa 2004)**

Firstly I would just like to say that many gamers called this during E3, citing the terrible response to the Xbox One’s new policies. Secondly, is this giving the Xbox One enough time to catch up to the PS4’s preorder numbers, which have soared since Sony’s E3 press conference?

I, for one, am far more comfortable with purchasing an Xbox One now that they’ve righted many of the perceived wrongs. That being said I will still be getting the PS4 first.

What about you guys and gals? Are you going to plop down the cash to get the Xbox One, the PS4 or say “screw it” and get both? Sound off in the comments down below and maybe when I get my PS4 you can come play Watch Dogs with me!
