Deadpool! Bang! Babes! Mayhem! These are the elements that make a great launch trailer for a lovely story about Deadpool. Nolan North will be doing the voice of Deadpool as he has done before in other media. The developers from High Moon Studios worked with former Deadpool writer Daniel Way to pen down the script. The storyline begins with Deadpool accepting a mission to assassinate Chance White, when Mister Sinister shows up to ruin the day and costing Deadpool money.
As Deadpool seeks out his revenge on Mister Sinister, he encounters other Marvel characters like Domino, Wolverine, Cable, Death, Rogue, and Psylocke. As a third-person action game, Deadpool will gain new combos as he progresses. A combination of melee and shooting, Deadpool will use big hammers, sai, swords, guns, and laser guns. The game will rely heavily on dismemberment and decapitations as body parts and bloodstains fly everywhere. With the amazing accelerated healing factor as Deadpool’s super-power, you can decide to either reattach severed limbs or wait for them to regrow.
Deadpool will be released for just the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 25th. Published by Activision, Deadpool will come out on Steam for the PC (we just don’t know when yet). With all this chaos, I can’t wait for Deadpool to make comments about girls rear-ends and shoot people in the face at point-blank range!
