PlayStation announced today its rollout of its Days of Play promotion, which will begin on Friday, June 9 and continue until Saturday, June 17. According to the official U.S. PlayStation blog:

As part of the event, gamers will be able to purchase a Gold PS4 Slim for $249.99. The system comes with a 1TB HDD and a special limited edition gold DualShock 4 controller.
Regarding peripherals, North American-based gamers can purchase a DualShock 4 wireless controller color for $39.99 and a PS4 gold wireless headset for $79.99. And when it comes to discounted games, Sony is offering Nioh, Horizon: Zero Dawn and MLB: The Show for $39.99.
For players outside of the U.S., there will be online discounts through the PlayStation Store during Days of Play on selected games. However, the European PlayStation blog reveals that gamers in the EU will have to wait until June 28 to purchase the limited edition gold PS4, which comes with a smaller 500GB HDD.
