505 Games, a global video game publisher of many well known free-to-play games, has released a trailer for its new game, titled, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
This Kickstarter-funded RPG is based in 18th century England, and centers around the Industrial Revolution. Players will be tasked with fighting the forces of Hell, as well as trying to find a cure for their characters’ curse before they turn into crystal. Check out the trailer below:
The trailer has revealed a new map in the game called Church, and also features environmental improvements that have been added into the game overall. Changes to the characters include new weapons for Miriam, the protagonist and the players’ character, new moves, and a new boss known as Bloodless.
The original Bloodstained was created by Koji Igarashi, known for his work with Gothic and eerie game styles and plots. He is also famous for working on the Castlevania series.
Bloodstained is set to be released in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, and several other platforms. If you would like to purchase the game, you can pledge on Kickstarter, where they will send you the backer edition of the game no matter where in the world you are.
