The Elder Scrolls: Legends — Houses of Morrowind Is Set to Change the Game

The Elder Scrolls: Legends will be getting a huge expansion later this month with Houses of Morrowind. Read on for more details on the biggest TESL update since Heroes of Skyrim.

Fans of The Elder Scrolls: Legends, get ready for the biggest content expansion since Heroes of Skyrim. On March 29, Houses of Morrowind will usher players to Vvardenfell with 149 new cards, all-new abilities, and the introduction of three-attribute decks. What’s more, maximum deck sizes of 70 are a thing of the past; with Houses of Morrowind, that’s been upped to 100.

Each of the new cards represents one of five major houses of Vvardenfell, and each house gets a new keyword (with the exception of House Dagoth). Bethesda’s website goes into great detail on each, but here’s a basic rundown from the recent press release.

House Redoran: Strength-Willpower-Endurance

Keyword: Rally — “Whenever a Rally creature attacks, it gives a random creature in your hand +1/+1.”

House Telvanni: Intelligence-Agility-Endurance

Keyword: Betray — “After you play this action, you may sacrifice a creature to play it again.”

House Hlaalu: Strength-Willpower-Agility

Keyword: Plot — “Plot abilities trigger if you’ve played another card that turn.”

Vivec City Pilgrim from TESLHoM

Keyword: Exalt — “Offers a creature bonus if you pay more magicka for it.”

House Dagoth: Strength-Intelligence-Agility

There’s no traditional keyword with House Dagoth; rather, these “reward you for having creatures with 5 or more power.”

But this is just the tip of the iceberg. With over 140 all-new cards, three-attribute decks, and new abilities to be explored, we can expect to hear lots more in the days to come.
