Rake in the Big Bucks in Rockstar’s GTA Online Money Giveaway

Rockstar is making your GTA Online Maze account sing, and all for the sweet price of absolutely nothing.

If you’re wondering how to make money in GTA Online, your best answer is playing during the month of May. Rockstar announced it’s giving away $500,000 in GTA money to anyone who simply logs in sometime between now and the end of the month.

Eurogamer originally spotted the announcement in a Rockstar tweet.

Signing in is all you have to do. The GTA$ gets sent to your Maze account within a week after your first May login date.

Rockstar has a bunch of GTA Online discounts running right now, including 40% off laser weapons and 40% off nightclubs, plus a few others that end tomorrow, May 6. Even if you logged in May 1, though, you wouldn’t likely get the GTA$ until after these events.

But on top of offering ongoing weapons discounts to spend money on, this is probably Rockstar’s contribution to the stay home and play initiative.

If you’re not sure what to do with your sudden windfall, we’ve got some suggestions. Gear up for the casino heist to pad your bank account even more, buy some property, or blow the cash on some of the hottest cars GTA Online has to offer.
