Snacko is bringing its unique blend of Zelda, Rune Factory, and more to Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Snacko takes place on a cursed island where Momo, a “big city kitty,” sets out with her friend Mikan to find meaning in life. What they find is a ruined village that’s just waiting for some caring paws to spring back into life.

Momo turns into the island’s manager, building settlements, caring for wildlife, farming, fishing, and making friends — when she’s not hunting monsters.

Bluecurse said Snacko draws on Rune Factory, Zelda, and Story of Seasons for inspiration. The village is just one part of the island, and Momo will venture to deserts, swamps, snow-capped peaks, and more to uncover the truth behind the island’s curse and gain some unique abilities along the way. Stay tuned for more between now and 2022.
