Monster Hunter Rise Patch 3.1.0 Fixes a Slew of Bugs, Adds New Content

Monster Hunter Rise patch delivers plenty of bug fixes with the addition of new quests set to be released weekly.

Since its release in March, Monster Hunter Rise has been occupying Switch owners as they gleefully track and hunt creatures five times their size and smack them over the head with a hammer two times their size.

Capcom has also been consistently supporting Monster Hunter Rise in that time with various patches and updates. Now patch update 3.1.0 is out, and it fixes a number of issues while also adding new content to the game.

The main takeaway with the new patch is that it adds in event quests, which will be available weekly, and that Capcom has also now made a plethora of DLC available for purchase on the eShop.

While new weekly content is an exciting addition, as it does mean an incredible amount of fresh quests for players to sink into regularly, what may be equally interesting for players are all the bug fixes the new patch update brings with it.

Capcom listed a total of 75 bug fixes in their full patch notes, which you can read here, though there are some unlisted so the real number is potentially much higher. Even without those unseen, 75 is nothing to scoff at, especially since many of them fix issues that have otherwise been severely plaguing gameplay, from UI to carving issues.

We gave Monster Hunter Rise perfect marks earlier this year, saying “might be one of the easiest games in the series, but it’s also one of the most flexible and ultimately satisfying in each and every regard…”
